Year 2 - Ladybirds
Welcome to Ladybirds Class
Our teacher is Mrs Bateson and our teaching assistants are Mrs Bishop and Mrs May.
Welcome to Year 2! During the year we will have fun finding out about new things and continue on our learning journey.
In history we talk about significant events such as the Great Fire of London and the journey of the Mayflower. We will go back in time to the Stone Age and think about pre-historic people and animals.
In geography, we enjoy finding out about our local area, including Dartmoor and how it is used. Through the use of maps, we explore and compare Hawaii to our own locality.
Ladybirds love to be creative and will explore, make and evaluate in dt, art and music.
We love to be scientists and will be finding out about living things, including animals and plants. We will explore and test different materials and talk about their uses.
