Year 2 - Ladybirds
Welcome to Ladybirds Class
Our teachers are Mrs Keylock and Mrs John. Our teaching assistants are Miss Baker and Mrs Hewish.
Welcome to Year 2! We are excited to begin another wonderful year of learning and discovery. This year, children will continue to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning through a range of engaging topics. In English, we will focus on developing independent readers and writers through exciting texts and daily reading opportunities. In Maths, children will build their understanding of number, working confidently with numbers up to 100 and developing their problem-solving skills. Our History learning will take us back to the fascinating events of the Great Fire of London, while in Geography we will explore the unique landscapes and features of Dartmoor. In Science, we will investigate living things and their habitats, as well as learn about healthy lifestyles and how to take care of our bodies.
