Year 5 - Foxes
Welcome to Foxes Class.
Our teachers are Mrs Thomas and Mrs Stickley and our teaching assistant is Mrs Burton.
Welcome to Year 5! During this year, we will be covering lots of exciting topics!
We will be historians learning about the Romans and how they grew their Empire. We will bring this to life with a visit from a Roman Centurion and his nemesis, Boudicea.
We will take a tour around the world in geography, learning about tourism and population, earthquakes and deserts.
We will be scientists learning about the world around us through topics such as materials, Earth and space and forces.
We will be artists exploring our creative sides; learning about new and interesting artists such as the Shoreditch Sketcher and the work they produce.
We will develop practical skills in our learning in DT which we can put to use in the woods during our Wild Tribe sessions.
In PE, we will try out a range of new skills and sports as well as completing a 3-week swimming unit at the Life Centre and taking part in Bikeability.
